Alex has worked at Williams Litigation since 2018, and has practiced as an Associate Lawyer with the firm since his call to the bar in 2020. Alex moved to Ottawa in 2012 from Sault Ste. Marie, and has called Ottawa home ever since.
Alex strives to develop a strong working relationship with each of his clients in order to understand and appreciate their circumstances and goals in litigation. He is meticulous in building his clients' cases, and ensures that he provides his clients with the knowledge they need to make difficult decisions when proceeding through litigation, in a clear and articulate matter. While Alex is an experienced negotiator who is always looking for the most cost-effective and efficient way to resolve his clients' matters, as a trial lawyer, with experience in both jury and judge alone trials, he is also always prepared to bring matters before the court if necessary.
Alex practices in a variety of areas, including insurance defence, personal injury, property damage, construction disputes, employment litigation, real estate litigation, and contract disputes. He is eager to represent both Plaintiffs and Defendants rigorously through the litigation process. He has successfully appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court, and the License Appeal Tribunal. He is happy to assist with matters all across Ontario.
In his spare time, as an avid sports fan, Alex enjoys watching football and basketball, working out and running. As well, Alex enjoys a variety of tabletop games with friends, and plays guitar (at least, he tries).
